I believe that every student has the ability to learn and enjoy music when given the right guidance, encouragement, and environment. Piano study is not only about learning notes and technique, but about developing confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

In my studio, I strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s goals, learning style, and pace, recognizing that no two musicians learn in the same way. By combining strong technical foundations with engaging repertoire, I aim to build both skill and genuine enthusiasm for playing the piano.

I emphasize consistency, patience, and goal-setting, helping students understand that progress comes through steady effort. At the same time, I encourage creativity and curiosity, allowing students to explore music that excites and inspires them. Above all, my goal is to help students grow not only as pianists, but as confident, motivated individuals who carry their love of music with them throughout their lives.

My Story

I never originally saw myself as an educator. My first career path was in the medical field, where I worked as a nurse before retiring. After nearly 18 years in retirement, I discovered a second calling as a piano and music teacher.

I began playing piano at age five, and music has been a meaningful part of my life ever since. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love not only for playing, but also for teaching and helping others experience the joy of music.

I work with students of all ages, from complete beginners to more advanced players, and I design lessons around each student’s learning style, goals, and musical interests. I believe music should be something students enjoy, not just something they practice.

My lessons focus on building strong foundational skills while also exploring music that students genuinely love, helping them stay motivated and excited to play. I created my studio to be a place where students feel encouraged, challenged, and supported. Every student is different, and I love getting to know each person so their lessons feel personal, meaningful, and inspiring.

30 minute weekly lesson

This once a week lesson is best suited for the age group of 4yrs to 11yrs. Each lesson is carefully planned to help these younger students become well-rounded musicians. They will learn fun and engaging piano pieces that will help develop the skills needed to read, understand, and enjoy thier musical journey

45 minute lesson

This once a week lesson is best suited for ages 12 and older. Every lesson is tailored to the student's age, experience level, learning style and musical goals. My goal is to create a fun, encouraging environment where students build confidence, develop strong musical skills, and discover the joy of making music.

Monthly Tuition Rates

30-minute weekly lesson: $80 per month

45-minute weekly lesson: $90 per month

Military or Multiple Family Member Discount: 10%

Monthly tuition reserves your student's dedicated weekly lesson time and includes individualized instruction, lesson planning, and ongoing support.

All lesson books, music, and instrutional materials are provided as part of your student's tuition. My goal is to make piano lessons convenient for families by supplying everything students need to learn and succeed.

Proper piano technique and healthy hand position
Note reading in both the treble and bass clefs
Rythm reading and counting
Music theory fundamentals
Ear training and listening skills
Chord recognition and basic harmony
Scales, finger patterns, and technical exercies
Sight-reading
Musical expression, dynamics and articulation
Performance skills
Practice strategies to encourage productive practice at home
Age-appropriate music games and activities that reinforce learning
